Hi, Diane. Just wondering....there was a family from Goss Ave who was desperately looking for their cat a few months ago. There were signs up all over Ward 7. He was a large, long haired black and white tuxedo cat, polydactyl (with double paws). Do you know if they ever found their cat? If they contacted you and you still have their info....I was at Petsmart yesterday, and a cat who matches that description exactly is up for adoption....complete with double paws.

If their cat is still missing, they should contact the Melrose Humane Society and see if its him; even if it isn't they might be willing to give this nice cat a new home.(He was VERY friendly)

Hi Anonymous :) I had heard about the lost cat on Goss Ave, but the people never contacted me, so I have no way to get in touch with them. I hope their cat was found.

It's wonderful that Melrose Humane is at PetSmart now- it gives their adoptable kitties some great exposure. Someone else actually mentioned that double-pawed boy to me. He's obviously charming a lot of people, so he's sure to find a home soon! -Diane
